The Strange Acoustic Duo is about SIMPLICITY and RAWNESS; acoustic rhythm guitar, sensual, sassy and powerful vocals, and a myriad of percussive instruments, playing your favorite tunes from such artists as The Doors, The Cure, Roy Orbison, Tracey Chapman, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, U2, Live and more…
Lynette has been a professional singer/songwriter and Pianist for over 10 years, and has recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Music at NMIT (Fairfield) in Melbourne. She has also been working in various “original” bands and Latin bands in the past 3 years to add to her already extensive repertoire. Lynette is also co-founder and teacher at a Melbourne Singing and Songwriting Studios.
The Strange Acoustic Duo – Vince has been a guitarist/songwriter/performer for over 20 years, producing and writing 2 full-length albums and has recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Music at NMIT (Fairfield) in Melbourne. He has also played in various “original” bands performing in many of the Melbourne venues and festivals over the past 20 years. Vince is also co-founder and teacher at a Melbourne Singing and Songwriting Studios.
